Impact Snacks on In Good Hands

Background

Today, most corporations are beholden to their shareholders and nothing else. Their accountants only deal with money and their impact is measured in how efficiently they can use the environment to their advantage.

Solution

Enter Impact Snacks, the CPG startup creating the world’s most sustainable everyday snacks. For instance, they spend 1000% more than traditional CPGs on biodegradable materials to ensure their wrapper returns to the earth long before we do. They use LCA-certified accountants to track the carbon produced from the entire lifecycle of their bars, including harvest, production, packaging and shipping, and they reclaim that carbon in the form of solar infrastructure and reforestation efforts. In fact, of the 0.38 pounds of carbon produced by each bar, they reclaim 1 pound or 250% more than the original offset.
