Hi everyone! My name’s Peter Levin and I’m thrilled to introduce you to In Good Hands. Before telling you about the show, I’d like to ask you a question. When you hear the phrase “climate change” what comes to mind?

We’re familiar with the problem, we know it’s big. But what does it mean?? Is some catastrophic event coming down the pike? According to a report from the UN published just last week, the world’s food supply is in imminent danger due to climate change. It seems like every day there’s a new headline about a future like this. And I don’t think I’m alone when i say it makes me feel helpless, like we’re past the point of no return.

So what can we do about it? Is it opting for paper straws with your morning coffee? Or re-use instead of single use? Small changes like these are important, but they aren’t enough.

We need big, fundamental changes to the way we interact with the world. And this is what In Good Hands is about, a show featuring the businesses and founders taking on the climate problem set. Through these conversations, we’ll show you the most promising solutions being engineered and introduced TODAY. Across agriculture, beauty, energy, and everything in between.

Optimism is missing from the narrative today, and we hope to solve that by highlighting progress and building a community around this conversation. To show all of us the future is in good hands.

So without further ado, we hope you enjoy the first episode as we kick off with Blueland, a new type of CPG company taking on the global plastic problem.

Thank you, and see you there.
