Every day, millions of pounds of perfectly-good food goes to waste. Think about it: all of the company, campus, and hospital cafeterias that cook up amazing meals, then trash all the leftovers. So much waste!
It’s why we’re thrilled to have Replate on the show, the non-profit on a mission to reduce food waste and alleviate food insecurity in communities everywhere. Replate manages the food donations of caterers, offices with meal services, brands with product overrun, farmers markets, restaurants and other surplus food generators. Every food donation is taken to a nearby nonprofit that works with people experiencing food insecurity.
